The Kayon Valley Resort

I had the most incredible experience staying at The Kayon Valley Resort in Ubud. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly taken care of. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort is simply unmatched. The staff were beyond amazing—warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making my stay unforgettable. Their kindness and dedication shone brightly, especially during the New Year’s party, where their happiness and hard work created such a joyous atmosphere. It was heartwarming to see how much they cared about ensuring every guest had a memorable time. The resort itself is a tranquil paradise. The beautifully designed villas, surrounded by lush greenery, create a perfect retreat for relaxation. Every little detail, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the thoughtful amenities, made me feel like I was in a true sanctuary. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury, comfort, and impeccable service, The Kayon Valley Resort is the one. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and I’m already dreaming of my next visit!

The view at this hotel was absolutely breathtaking taking. The restaurant looks over the jungle and pool. Poolside menu was decent. Portions could be bigger…staff is very attentive. Good pool. Good proximity to ubud town and a convenient free shuttle via air con van several times a day. Also they offer to shuttle you for free to their sister property the kanyon jungle resort to use their amenities. Fruit bowl in the room nice touch. Breakfast is a la carte and was good.

Amazing reception at the resort by their staff, welcome drinks and they took their time to go through things and helped us plan our day. Our luggage was sent to our rooms and then eventually their buggy took us to our room with the butler who then showed us around the accommodation too. The villa itself, OMG, breathtaking. The room was beautiful. The bed was massive, the ceiling was high with nets hanging around it, lighting all around. Beautiful long bathroom with bathroom next to the window with that view. The outside space no different. Dining and small kitchen area all well equipped. The infinity pool and jacuzzi and again, that view of the forest. Just in complete awe still that we got to stay there. Their staff were exceptional from the reception, butlers, security, drivers, restaurant staff and even the spa masseuse. Took special care of everything. No where in the world have we stayed and received that quality of customer care. The food in the restaurant all tasted amazing. Fell more in love with Indonesian food there. We also made it to one of the Balinese night experiences which was also beautiful. They also have this communal infinity pool that is just stunning. Somebody please let me go back!!! We were so sad to leave.

Amazing views both from the villa and the main pool/ restaurant. Super quiet and jungle feel, despite being just a bit out of the center of Ubud, Great place to relax after a busy day visiting around. Food in the restaurant was great - both for breakfast and dinner, although I would still recommend going to Ubud for a better Bali feel. But if you want a more tranquil/ romantic dinner - the restaurant is great. We had a great half day tour organized by the place - Yogi was an amazing guide - takings as through all the steps for the water purification ritual in Tirta Empul temple. Thanks a lot for this! For travel to and from Ubud center just take Grab - best scooter - fast and costs literally cents. Generally, a great place to explore Ubud from but be away from the noise and crowds in the center.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kayon Valley Resort for my husband and I’s honeymoon, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Surrounded by lush greenery and a surreal jungle overview, the atmosphere was truly enchanting. The food was exceptional, offering a delightful blend of local flavors that tasted organic and fresh. The room was clean, cozy and complete with a private pool overlooking the jungle canopy. It was the perfect place to relax and soak in the serene ambiance. The staff, including Gush, Ayu, Suwa, OkY, Asseh (not sure if I am spelling it right) and others whose names we regrettably don't recall, were incredibly attentive and caring. Their dedication ensured we not only enjoyed our stay but also got to immerse ourselves in the true culture of Bali. From their warm hospitality to their nurturing personality, every interaction with the staff left a lasting impression. As we were leaving, the team stood together, gifted us a teddy bear and gave us a beautiful, heartfelt goodbye to us. It's the thoughtful touches and attention to detail that made our stay so incredibly special. I highly recommend Kayon Valley Resort to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable Bali getaway.
